DiFFER is a facilities-based non-dominant carrier, providing our own Internet service over our own infrastructure to buildings that we service – not wholesale or resold services of other incumbent providers.
DiFFER generally offers only one Internet speed, and it’s among the fastest in the country — our standard offering is 2.5Gbps symmetrical speeds1 — that is, the same fast speeds for both downloading and uploading, with a focus to improve quality of life for work-from-home and home office users.
With our Internet service, we provide a complimentary WiFi 6E2 router, but you can bring your own router too!
Broadcast Television Services
DiFFER is a registered broadcast distribution undertaking (BDU) and has built and operates our own broadcast television infrastructure and platform – not a white-label or resold off-the-shelf IPTV service like some other small providers.
DiFFER offers up to 80+ high-definition channels, including the most popular choices from content providers like Bell Media, Rogers, Corus Entertainment, and other Canadian and US broadcasters, and includes full sports channel packages.
Like our Internet service, the available television packages are simple:
- Basic: 25 essential channels
- Max: 80+ channels, including news, sports, entertainment, movies, children, and French programming
Home Phone Service
DiFFER has partnered with a world-class local landline phone service provider to offer DiFFER customers the ability to keep their home phone number and landline analog telephone service (plain-old telephone service) while enjoying DiFFER’s other state-of-the-art services.
